Terriosts: real or fake?

I showed my German friend, a clip of the comedian Jeff Dunham with Achmed the dead terrorists. I talked to her the next day about it and asked her what she thought about it. She did not get it. I tried to explain to her, but I came up short of reasoning. I had no idea either. The stuff they were talking about was about all the stuff you hear about terrorists. Maybe its from my lack of knowledge about 9/11, and she is from Germany. I think we are the only country that believes these things. What about the rest of the world? If we are the only country that believes these things, then are they fake?
